BURK FAMILY..Would love to contact descendants of James and Sophia BURK,(James later married Jane C.) who were shopkeepers in Covington, at least in 1850. Both were born 1795. Children: Thomas BURK (1825); James E. BURK (1828) who married Georgianna BARNES?...all their children relocated to Ellis Co, Texas. William H. BURK (1823) married Elmira STANLEY..this family stayed in Covington area, buried in Covington. Please contact me if you're a descendant. Susan Hollis, 6411 S. Quay Ct.
