searching for info abt. the early MOODY's of Augusta Co., VA 1700's

I am searching for info about the early MOODY's of Augusta Co., VA (and Rockingham and Rockbridge Co's if any where there as well). I have seen from Chalkely's 3 vol. books that it appears the earliest Moody's in that area were brothers James and Robert MOODY and then later came an "Irishman" Andrew MOODY.
I believe that my own Moody family may link or share Ydna with these Moody's of this particular area of VA because So Many of the other families that settled in this area are also found in our Ydna reports and in our Moody cousins genealogies. Also because so many of these families moved from PA to NC to TN and vice versa into this area of VA from those places.
These families that link to my own Moody ydna cousins were in the exact same counties too (Guilford, Stokes, Rowan Co., NC and Beford Co., TN as well as others and same places in PA too).
My own 5th grt. grandfather's name was James MOODY and he ended up in York Co., Maine perhaps coming there from the South just prior to the Rev. War which he enlisted into to help with the reinforcements in New York.
He married my 5th grt. grandmother Elizabeth DONALD (also seen spelled more commonly as Donnell but she was of Scottish descent).
There were several Donnell's in the Guilford Co., NC area and since this is where a great many of our Ydna Moody cousins families were living I am suspicious my James may have come from the South as well.
Our earliest know Moody ancestor (thanks to the ydna) was a Thomas MOODY b.c1710 in/of Aghadowey, Co. Londonderry, Ireland who married 1st to Jean McQUISTON/McCuiston daug. of Benjamin. They came to New Castle, DE in c1735 and then moved to PA and then again to Guilford Co., NC.
Their descendants are now all over the place.
I still think there is a link to these early Moody's in Augusta Co., VA and am hoping someone here might be able to shed new light on the James and Robert MOODY who were there before Andrew who was said to have come there prior to the Rev. War with his nephew of the same name who was apparently a teenager at the time.
Thank you very much. I can more easily be found posting to the MOODY board here.
