To be perfectly honest I am at a standstill regarding William and Rhoda! I haven't even established if they were living in Charlotte Co.! There is the puzzle of Benjamin East who had a Rhoda A. East (age 63)living with his family in 1850. This has given rise for some genealogists to believe that Benjamin was a child of Wm. and Rhoda. Yet, there are others who believe that James East (who married Judith Burchfield in Pitts. Co.) was a son. I tried to track down individuals as indicated in my initial query whom I thought could be children, but, then I came across the fact that Wm was at the very least a land holder in Pitts. Co., and had a number of legal entanglements the records of which have survived time and suggests that he resided in Pitts. Co.
