I have a pension abstract application that reads as follows;
Joseph Anderson's widow Hannah Anderson in Clark Co VA on Nov 27, 1838 states that she and her late husband had and she still has, the adjoining farm to the late Col Morgan Alexander. Wit. Jacob Isler Esq., acting JP, Clark Co and Dr. M.V. Thomson.
Daniel Anderson of Page Co on 27 Sep 1838 states that he was in service during the Rev War.
Daniel S3377677 VA Line appl 9 Feb 1818 Frederick Co VA aged 62, in 1820 sol was aged 68 next Apr & in Shennandoah Co VA with wife 57 & dau 23 & 2 dumb children, a girl 14 & a boy 27, sol's dau. Catharine, wf of Moses Wood appl 3 Jun 1853 Page Co VA & states sol d 6 Nov 1840 leaving children Catharine Wood & Jeruth Anderson (See Joseph)
(Capt Daniel Morgan's Rifles 1773-6 - a Daniel Anderson was wounded)
Wouldn't this be Joseph md to Hannah Blue and Daniel, Joseph's brother??
