Hello: According to the book on the mansion 'Carter Hall' in Millwood, which Frank & Mabel Christopher owned from 1946 to 1977, Frank Ellis Christopher's father was James F. Christopher, a Welsh coal miner, and his mother was Jennie Mae Ullery. Frank was born in PA on 24 Apr 1893. In 1898 the family moved to West Virginia, around Morgantown. He married Mabel Neville (d 10/26/1970) and owned coal mines in the 1930s. He sold out in 1946 and bought 'Carter Hall' in Millwood where he died on 23 Apr 1975. He is not buried in Clarke so he may have been taken back to Morgantown. Carter Hall was sold in 1977 to Project Hope, who still own it and use is as their international headquarters. One daughter was Elizabeth Christopher who married William West Jr. She gave the bio info to the book author. I do not know if she is still alive or not. Hope this helps.
