Jessie: In the 1900 census Ewell and family are living in Kabletown, WV and he only says he was born in 1870. What is really interesting is his wife Mary says she is 26, has been married 12 years (married at 14?) and has had 6 children, 3 living. All of them show WVA as their birthplace. I checked the Jefferson Co., WV tombstone book and they aren't listed as buried in any cemetery in Jefferson, and they aren't in Clarke. Hope this helps. Mary Morris
