Hi Pat,

I don't get on Gen Forum often but did tonight for a change. I found your message on Joseph Anderson - Hannah Blaw or Blue. I've done quite a bit of research on the descendants of Bartholomew and further back as well. In 2003 I submitted a supplement on Joseph Anderson to DAR to establish that he was a patriot in the Revolution. It was approved. So, I'm sure that the pension application is probably correct. He furnished supplies to the soldiers but I have not found that he was a soldier. He was a grandfather of mine: Bartholomew, Joseph I, Joseph II, Joseph E., Howard Frazier and my Father, Jesse Woodward. This family is an old one in this country and has an interesting history. The original Andersons arrived in New Amsterdam before 1650.

Always good to know that others are researching this family!
If I can answer any questions, I'll be glad to.

Fran L.
