Hi Fran,
I'm still trying to prove whether Bartholomew Anderson's son John is my ancestor. Through DNA submitted by a cousin we are found to be linked to Theophilus Perry Anderson. We are Group 6. (view on freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~andersondna/results).
Bartholomew's brother Eliakim had a son Theophilius but he died young. His father is said to be an Andrew of which there are many in Barth's line. Just haven't found the right one. Have you run across a Theophilius/Andrew in your research?
I would also like to know if you are aware of which religion was practiced by Barth and his descendants. His father was a trustee at Hopewell Presbyterian Church but I have a cousin who insists Barth was a Quaker in VA.
