As you might already know both Lydia (George) Colvin left a will in Fauquier Co. VA.
A Richard Colvin left estate division.
Both will document their children's names.
Also James Walker estate division in 1828 named: a Lydia Colvin (widow) another heir as Richard Colvin. Don't know if this is of interest to you of not.
Either you can view these documents on film at local library ? or L.D.S. library.
I have compiled these records in book form, e-mail me for more information.
I have a passing interest in the Lake family, for some of them married into my Pilcher family. I have not heard that they had come from Ireland. I might be able to find the address of a Pilcher researcher who also has Lake ancestry if you are interested.
I believe she has posting on Genforum/Pilcher.
