Believed I have e-mail you about this surname.

I have found in Gertrude E. Gray's book "Virginia Northern Neck Land Grants 1694-1742"

entry about a Capt. Simon Pearson of Stafford Co. VA purchasing land 1729.

And a Capt. Thomas Pearson of Pr.Wm. Co.VA purchased land 1742.

Could be the area of VA you would want to check for Craven Pearson's parentage.

Still think you will have to check land deeds in Loudoun (first) and continue to check early Fauquier Co. VA. Land Deeds.

Good Luck.
