Pat,

Thanks so much for the information. Yes, I am still confused regarding my grandfather's parents. I have seen most of the information that you sent, but not the tombstone inscriptions. My grandfather died in 1937 and is buried at Midland Cemetery in Catlett. Golder is such an unusual name that it is hard to believe that two people would have it. OneWorldTree has Golder attached to James W. and Mary F. Heflin with the birthdate of 22 Aug 1877. My grandfather's WWI Draft Registration has the date of 22 Aug 1875 on it. The WWI document indcates that he is severly crippled in his right leg and I know that to be true from my father.
