I need help finding the PARENTS of Peter GLASSCOCK born 25 July 1812 in VA. Peter married Sidney CATLETT 18 Sept. 1834 in Frederick County. Peter and Sidney were living in Rappahannock County on the 1850 / 1860 census. I do know that Peter and his children came to MS before 1862 and Peter died there. Peter and Sidney had two children, Landora (my GG-Grandmother and, Catlett who died during the Civil War in TN. Also I just recently learned that there is a town in Fauquier County named Catlett. Does anyone know how it got its name? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Fran
