Since William was born about 1783, these might be his parents:

James Childs, marriage bond 5/16/1781 to Milly McKonkey, bondsman Joshua Jinnins/Jennings, Fauquier Co.

Note: McKonkey is also spelled McConchie in Fauquier Co. There was an Alexander McConchie who could have been Milly's father.

Anyway, something for you to check out.
