In extensive research for the captioned family (Gott's CD), I am uable to effect a link between the solitary land-owning Brown of the 1760s and the several Browns who are mentioned again in the early 1800s. In Fauquier Co, Browm is not so common a name as today. I have genealogy to share with those interested.
