You should check out the will of Joseph Jeffrey filed 28 Dec 1807 mentions a daughter Aggatha Sanders.

Lots and lots of other Jeffrey/Jeffries records left in Fauquier Co. VA.

You will want to check land deeds, gold mine of information, around the time you think your couple left VA and in KY about the time you think they arrived.
