Hi! I just noticed something. On page 190 of the same book by John K. Gott, it states the following:

"Stevens, Bannister & Lucinda Philips, Apr. 4, 1825- bdsm: Presley Philips"

Bannister is such an unusual name, that it stook out there. It doesn't matter how you spell it. Just thought I'd throw it in! Take care.
