Joe, I, too, would be interested in any items you discover about Aldophus. Lewis Fawsett Walker is his supposed adopted father. Family tradition said Lewis adopted a child, but we had not found confirmation of that. Have checked only the 1910 Census for Lewis. No wife listed, although he married twice (1878 & 1891), both women named Lawler. 2 children are listed in census: Robert (b c1879)& Lucy (b c1884); we thought one of them was the adoptee, but are rethinking that in light of your message.
