Fauquier Co. VA Land Deed Book 31, page 83, Evelina E. Cowan is named as the daughter of Alexander Cowan and her mother then Sarah Tancil. Dated 13 May 1830.
Sarah Cowen (widow) married in Fauquier Co. VA on 1 Nov 1817 to Henry Tancil. I do not see a marriage bond for said Alexander Cowan to Sarah .......?
