I am seeking information on the family of John Valentine Martin, born 1850 in Halifax Co., Virginia, died abt. 1926 in Elco, Alexander Co., Illinois. He spent a number of years in Bedford Co. and Coffee Co., Tennessee. He married three times, two of his wives were Martha A. East, b. 1848 in Halifax Co., Virginia, died about 1896 in Bedford Co., Tenn; and Mary S. Teem, born 1862 in Tenn, died about 1916.
Children of Martha and John were:
Ellen b. 1879 in Tenn
Maggie H. b. 1870 in Tenn
Ganaway T. b. abt. 1887 in Tenn
William b. 1890 in Tenn
Ben
Children of Mary and John were:
Sarah M. b. 1898 in Tenn
Elizabeth b. 1899 in Tenn
