I did find that john sold 62 acres of land to a Moses Lester..in 1832, so i looked into the deeds more and found that the land John had was the same land that William, John, & Joel Salmon lived on around Lawsons Creek in Halifax co..they lived off of hwy 708 which is ceder grove rd in Tuberville va. they lived and married the families of Boyd, Brasher, Bradshaw, and the neigbors were John Rodgers, a Wiley, and Lawson..If anyone can help me i have hit a brick wall..one of these men is my 4th g-grandfather..
