I am searching for more information about this John E Bentley and his wife Sally ca 1777 NC from 1850 census. He is said to be son of Edmund and Jane BENTLEY from Halifax, VA In Madison County KY 1850 they are next door to Milenda FOWLER, the only child of Daniel still in Madison Co. John E has a nephew William who married Nancy Willis 27 Jan 1796 in Halifax VA. Any one working on these families? Thanks, Mary possibly 6 granddaughter of this John E. maybe?/
