My ancestor Rev. Soldier Moses Mills, born ca 1747, stated in his Rev. War pension application in Fayette Co., GA that he had joined Rev. 1776 from Halifax Co., VA. He married 1787 in Charlotte Co., VA to Keronhappuck Rather, daughter of James and Lucy Rather. He lived in Elbert Co., GA for many years before moving to Fayette Co., GA where he died in 1833. His children were William Mills, b. 1788, James Mills, b. 1790, and Martha "Patsy" Clabourn Mills, b. 1797. Need to know parents of Moses Mills. Could his mother have been a Clabourn/Claiborne?
