Hi,
The William Link and the John & Peter Rogers lived next to my Salmon line..they are in an old survey book..John owned almost 1000 acres of land in the early 1700's..Peter owned hundreds..as well as my family..You can read a little about the rogers if you look up Halifax Co Va. tour..in google..or southside tour..Its funny my friend is looking into the Link and Turner families from Halifax Co Va.
They all lived in the same area..some of the Rogers still live there now..I spoke to a Roy Rogers he showed me a grave site in the woods..that could be my family..or the Rogers Family..for it was next to John Rogers land as well as the Salmon's...here's what i have on Sarah Wood Salmon Rogers

Sarah Wood Salmon Born: Jan. 28th, 1801 Halifax Co. VA. Died June 18, 1884, in Fannin Co. TX.
Married: a William Rogers Nov. 24, 1823
Note: William Rogers died in Madison Co. Al. April 16, 1857
Sarah Wood, Henry’s wife must have been an Indian, because her daughter was an Indian lady. Who married a William Rogers.
They had a son named Thaddeus Siwasee, which is an Indian name. I also was sent by her family, a
Photo of Sarah Wood Salmon Rogers and on this photo it reads Indian second wife of William Rogers. It also says that she had 9 children. William Rogers had at least 20 children: His First wife was a Nancy Brawner born, Jan. 22, 1789
