Frances Denson of IOW who Married John Howard of NC

John Howard (died 1751/52) and wife Frances lived in Onslow County, NC where they raised four sons.

It is generally believed that this Frances was Frances Denson who was born in Isle of Wight County in 1708.

I am looking for any documents that would either prove or suggest that Frances Denson was indeed the wife of John Howard.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this area.
