I know through DNA I connect to Hodges Counsell and Lucy Hardy. I have proof that I descend from Robert Council born 1768-1774 in North Carolina. What I am missing is who was Robert's father. My Robert says he was born in North Carolina, but his father probably was not. So I am looking into VA. I am looking for a Council male born in VA with a brother son Lemuel and Scrutchings or Cuthchings, something like that. I, or my brother, is a 67 marker match with a Richard Wayne Counsil who descends from this line. The date, about 1750.
