Hi,
Was wondering if anyone living there in Isle of Wight Co., VA can help me located the "second branch of the Blackwater River." I have a land grant to my ancestor, John Oliver, where he is granted land on the second branch of the Blackwater river pointing toward the head of Lower Chippokes Creek. Am trying to locate that land as best I can using Google Earth. I have a general area but would be great if I could get a bit more specific. Thanks. Feel free to contact me at etheri2351@aol.com.
