Dear Ray,
We seem to have a connection. I am very glad you contacted me. My GGG Grandmother was Nancy Carroll m. to Jno. Farrar. Nancy's father is supposedly John Carroll. On Nancy's death certificate her mother is named as Sarah. I have not looked at the census on which I found Nancy Carroll living next to GW Carroll in a while, they may have been brother & sister. I will have to dig that paperwork out and check again to see what their ages were and if that was a likelyhood.

John Farrar's ancestor was Counselor William Farrar of Farrar's Island.

I am very intersted in the Carroll side of the family as I have not yet found out much about them, thinking that perhaps they had come from Maryland as there seems to be quite a few there.

As with you, all 13 generations of my Farrar side of the family have stayed in Virginia.

Yes, I would be very interested in the information that you might like to share.

Thank you,

Sherry
