John Thomas Bland B: May 02, 1834 in Scotland and D: June 03, 1910 in Henry Co, AL. He married Avey Salonie Moring; B: Jan 11, 1844 in Henry Co, AL and D: Aug 07, 1916 in Henry Co, AL. She is my 2nd great grand-aunt. She was my great great grandfathers sister. My grandfather; Charlie Bland Moring, carried the Bland name as his middle name.
It is my understanding that John Thomas Bland came directly from Scotland to Henry Co, AL.
Do you perchance have any information on him or his ancestors? Any information would be appreciated on any Bland familys you are willing to provide. Am looking at several in North Carolina and also in VA.
