I glad this has helped you. I'm working on the various John Williams Lines. Knowning wher John Seaward'ss land on the Black River also helped me with identifing who sold what to whom in the 1660's. There are a number of individuals I have identified owning property around cypress Swamp. Today cypress swamp is located on the west side of the black water River. However, in John boddie's book 17th Century, Isle of Wight there is a sketch that is drawn based on the discription of William Boddie grant he received in 1684. It shows cypress swamp as an extension of cypress Creek. If this is correct Therefore I'm looking for an early map that shows the Cypress Creek , Cypress Swamp and the Great Swamp. In 1682 Wiliam Boddie sold John williams land on the Wwestern side of cypress Swamp. In 1685 Edmond Palmer sold land to John Jones located next starting a a pine at John Williams coener tree in williams Boddie's line. I need tp confirm the locations.
