i had asked if any harris marriages in mecklenburg co, va in the book you have but i found some on line at another site.
i also noted per your own posts that you had an interest in a martha harris who married thomas crutchfield in 1837 in mecklenburg co, va. were you able to find out more about martha?
i have tried for the longest time to learn and/ or confirm that my william harris/ frances goode who was in the bluestone creek area of lunenburg co, va ca 1750 was the son, william, of william and judith hudson harris.
i can find no one else interested in them. they had ten sons, including a son william, and also a daughter named martha.
this bluestone creek area where they lived became mecklenburg co, va and from what i can tell just in studying the records, this seems for sure to have been their son james harris who continued to live there in this same bluestone creek area.
have you ever noted anyone interested in william and judith hudson harris or this james harris?
