Seeking info on George Richardson also Richerson also Richeson moved here about 1791 died here about 1795. Appears in Mecklenburg co Gen. Index to Wills and List of Heirs, appr. 1795. Book 4 p. 26.
Researchers say his first wife was Elizabeth Dejarnette, dtr of Joseph Dejarnette. She died 1785, leaving Mary, Rebecca, Joseph.
George married a Sarah and had Elizabeth, Frances, George, Giles, and Sarah.
His dtr Mary married Thomas Jeffries. In 1804, Thos Jeffries and wife were plaintiffs vs. Admin. of George Richardson, Chancery Court Records.
This appears to be the same George Richerson who lived in Caroline County, married Eliz. Dejarnette in Caroline County.
A Goerge Richerson served as deputy sheriff of Caroline county in the 1770s and served in the Rev. War--don't know if it is this one or an older one.
