Love's of VA, OHIO, ILLINOIS, IOWA

I'm searching for a branch of Love's who went back to Virginia in the late 1700's to early 1800's then to Ohio in the 1820's, to Illinois in the late 1840's.

My ggg grandfather James Love was born somewhere in Ohio in 1822 where he married a woman named Sarah, possibly Bennett?, then migrated to Central Illinois in McLean county near Bloomington in the late 1840's.

James Love's father according to census records was born in Virginia.

James and Sarah Love are buried in McLean County, Illinois and their family then removed to Iowa at the turn of the 20th century where they settled in Calhoun County.

Is anyone researching any Love's from Ohio or Virginia and possibly Illinois? I would like to get in touch with you for any tidbit of info. This is a brickwall, since McLean County has no record of James Love's death to point me to Ohio where he was born.
