Seeking information about William Howell born abt. 1800 in Virginia and married Martha Jewell born in Virginia, they later resided in Belmont County and were the parents of John Howell born 1822 or 1823 in Belmont County. John Howell resided in Warren Township, Belmont Co. in the 1850 & 1860 censuses. I'm looking at the possibility that this William Howell is the William Howell born 1792 in Virginia and married Jemine Jewett.Also is this William Howell the same William Howell that resided in the household of Eleanor Mercer Howell in the 1850 census of Flushing Twp., Belmont County, he is listed as a laborer and birthdate is abt. 1792 in Virginia. Does anyone know of any children of William Howell, I have checked the index of wills in Belmont County and don't find a listing. Information, insights and opinions welcomed and sought.
