I am trying to locate James Dillon. He is my ggg randfather.
My gg grandfather, George Washington Dillon was born abt 1813 and supposedly his date of death is Nov 26, 1884 in
Fincastle Virginia. On George's 2nd marriage, he listed
his place of birth as Rockbridge, VA. He listed his parents
names as James and what appears to be Margaret Dillon.
Beyond that, I am unable to locate anything on them. I dont
know if they were originally from Rockbridge or maybe they
at one time moved to Franklin County Virginia. I dont even
have names of siblings for George W. Dillon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
