Thank you for your reply about Solomon. Because he was born about 1798 and lived a very long time he has become a focal point for many folks of Howard decent.
I am told he was a slave of the Kents, but have not been able to get documentation to show this. I am also interested in Ann, who in different records has been titled Judy, Judith, Judith A and Ann.
Since she was much younger that he was, it is possible she was a daughter or a wife and only other records (birth and deaths) will help clear up the status.
