JOHN BOYER, born 1793/94 in Del., Md., or Va., d. Jan. 13, 1859, Fulton Co., Ill.; buried in Wright Cem., Fulton Co., Ill. He moved to Zanesville, Ohio, and in 1842 moved to Fulton Co., Ill., where he owned a farm. He married Nancy Shaw, b. 1800/01, Va. She lived in Licking Co., Ohio, and came from Ohio to Fulton Co., Ill. The 1850 census of Fulton Co., Ill., listed the birthplace of both of them as Virginia. Children: Caleb, Robert, Samuel A., John, Rachel A., Sarah E., and Mary J.
