Seeking information on my g-g-grandfather Pleasant Tucker. His obit says he was born in Fork Union and reared by a member of the Randolph Family. Not able to definately pinpoint which plantation he was from. He and his wife, Eliza, appear on the 1870 census in Huguenot. He is living near a George and Louisiana Tucker and a Harry/Henry Dance. Trying to figure out if Pleasant and George are brothers and if Dance is Eliza Janes' maiden name. 1880 Pleasant is in Brazil, IN working in the coal mine. He became a baptist preacher who was involved in churches in Ohio, IL, IN, and PA. Also affiliated with the Allegheny Baptist Association (colored). He had 8 daughters and a brother, Philip, who is also buried in Youngstown, OH. He died in 1915.
