My gr-gr-grandfather was Joseph Patterson Fant (1829-1899) His father was Samuel M. Fant. I am trying to find a family connection to the Patterson name. Specific names that may also have a connection to Patterson are Iley, Watson, Fant, Joiner, and Sewell. These families were from South Carolina and Virginia and Mississippi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
