I am looking for descendants of Charles Belton b.1848 Bilston, Staffordshire, England and his wife Mary who along with their son John and his wife emigrated to City of Richmond, County of Henrico in the State of Virginia in 1888. Charles was the Church Sexton.
The last information I have regarding this family is from the 1910 census: Mary is now a widow and head of the house. Living with her are her married daughters Mary J Bowis and Charlotte Shaw along with their husbands and children. Also mentioned are two Belton grandsons, these are the sons of her son John.
Charles's brother William b.1846 emigrated to New Zealand around the same time. I have managed to make contact with this branch of the BELTON family and have met one member, I would now like to do the same for Charles's branch.
