John and Nancy Blizzard were born in North Carolina and died in Virginia, leaving many descendants there.
The DNA of Orville Blizzard of Tennessee was updated to Haplogroup I2b y-DNA. Orville was the son of John Haskew Blizzard, son of James G. Blizzard, son of John Blizzard b. abt. 1780 in NC, and his wife Nancy also born in NC.
James G. Blizzard born abt. 1834 in Virginia, was also the father of Russell F. Blizzard, (father of Claude R. Blizzard;) Fairbell Blizzard; and James Jefferson Blizzard, (father of James Calvin Blizzard.) I2b y-DNA sould be their y-DNA also; however, all the lines of sons of John and Nancy Blizzard should be tested to prove their relationship.
Other sons of John and Nancy Blizzard are: John W. Blizzard, born 1825 in North Carolina, and Sidney Blizzard born 1830 in Virginia.
Females do not have y-DNA therefore I did not list the daughters.
