Seeking parents of Uriah CUNNINGHAM, bn 16 Nov 1812 in Virginia, possibly Hampshire Co, Hanging Rock Region. Came alone to Athens Co Ohio about 1830 where he lived until his death 24 Dec 1866.
Family legend states that he came to Ohio with Lorenzo Dow POSTON, who later became a rich industrialist in the Hocking River Valley.
