Seeking information on, or descendants of, Magnus BALLARD and Viola JOHNSON Heath, who were living in Richmond Virginia in the 1920 Census.
Viola JOHNSON was born 02 Oct 1875 in Georgia, and died 23 Jul 1923 in Quincy IL. She was the daughter of Capt. Demetrius M. JOHNSON (1839-1905) and Susan M. GOODMAN (1848-1920) of Augusta GA.
She was first married to a Mr. HEATH (whose first name was perhaps Ossian), and had two sons: C. Eugene HEATH, b. ca 1899 in Georgia, and Herbert HEATH, born ca 1907 in New York. Herbert HEATH believed to have died during 1920-23, as he is not mentioned in his mother's obituary.
She did not marry Mr. BALLARD until after Feb 1913, based upon her name listed as HEATH in an obituary of a sister.
