Griggs/Scurlock in Richmond Co, VA

This is a repeat from the GRIGGS Genforum page.

I have an Elizabeth SCURLOCK b.aft 1731 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond COunty, VA who marries an Unnamed GRIGGS Bef 1757. Later, many of the SCURLOCK's move to what is now Chatham Co, NC but earlier was Orange Co, NC.

IF she was one of them that went to NC and her husband died, then she, also would be an ELIZABETH GRIGGS that could be married someplace in that area. I have been looking for her actual connection with the GRIGG line so if anyone has any ideas about a SCURLOCK/GRIGG in the VA area and what happened that would help me know where to look.
