Betty, you may have gotten an answer to your question, but if not, I have two suggestions.
I live in Richmond county, but I am in a wheel chair and go very few places. One place I do visit often is the Richmond Co. Community Library, which has a fair Genealogy Section. I am going there next week to look in Old Rappahannock Co. Deed Books and Richmond co. Deed books--if they have the ones I want. I would be glad to see if the books you need are in that library.
Also, I have found volunteers at the Mary Ball Washington Museum and Library to be most generous in looking up specific items. They have extensive records from a wide area around here.
