I am in search of relatives of Marie Berg 1880-1960. She passed away in Hennepin County, MN. She came with her parents Peder and Kari Waage in 1892 to Mount Valley Township Winnebago Co, Iowa between Forest City and Fertile. The Waage family are listed as Voge in the 1900 census for area. The family later moved in ca. 1909 to Crookston, MN. Mary is listed living with her parents there in 1910, along with daughter Lorraine. Her first husband was Howard Hubbard who died in Sept. 1900 just before I believe their daughter was born. He was the eldest son of Orville and Nettie Hubbard, manager of the Anderson Hotel in Forest City. Children: RAGNA 1916, CHARLOTTE 1918, ?DELPHINE 1921. Also LORRAINE HUBBARD 1900 OR 1901. I first found reference to her in the 1920 census for Mobridge, Walworth Co., South Dakota. Listed with husband Thomas Berg b. 1879 in Norway and listed as Storekeeper. I then found the Thomas Berg family in the 1930 census. They are now in Hennepin Co. MN. Thomas is listed as Ole T. Berg, wife Marie, children Ragna age 14, Charlotte age 12 and a son Delphine (Delvin?) age 9. Marie's death record is January 20, 1960. She was born 6 July 1880 in Vågsøy, Nordfjord, Norway. Her maiden name was Waage. She had a daughter by her first husband, Howard Hubbard. Lorraine was born 1900 in Forest City,Iowa. Her parents were Kari nee Rodberg and Peder Waage. Both Peder and Kari died in Mobridge SD. Siblings to Marie were Rachael Folkestad died in Anoka, MN 1959, Sivert, Arne, (both died single in SD), Karen, and Rasmus. Kari's full brother was Mons Rasmussen Rodberg who ended up in Colorado, very connected to the Skram family of Longmont, CO. I am connected through Kari s older half sister Mette Hansdtr. Rodberg and Mettes husband Erik Jacobsen Vaage was Kari s husband Peders first cousin. Would appreciate any help in reconnecting the two families. Tusen Takk
