Norman,

I'm starting to research my mother's side of the family now and so far I know that my Vaccaros came from the Palermo, Sicily area of Italy. They came over in the early 1900's and settled in Florida before moving to New York State. Does this ring a bell with anybody in your family tree? My grandfather's name was Stefano Vaccaro and he married Rosalie DiGaetano.
