We hope to find information on my husband's father: COSIMO (COSM0) VACCARO - born approx 1899-1900. Other family members from Acri - Cosenza believed to be: Domiano Vaccaro (father of this Cosimo?) - an elder Cosimo, believed to be the brother of Domiano; Domiano's sister, Domenica.

The wife of Domiano may be Luisa Sammarra-Vaccaro. Domiano had another son, Guisseppe, 4 years younger than Cosimo.

Records indicate that all of these family members who immigrated to the United States, settled in Avondale NJ (near Nutley NJ).

We also understand that at some time after arriving in the U. S., some of the family members (sons Cosimo and Guisseppi/Joseph) changed the spelling of VACCARO to VICARO.
Domiano retained the VACCARO spelling.

Any information or suggestions that any one might have, would be most appreciated.
