Would anyone have any leads? I am looking for a Marianna Vaccaro, probably born in the 1830s. Family lore is that she was from Valledolmo, but I have no evidence of this. She married Francisco Gugino of Valledolmo around 1852 or so. They had several children: Giuseppe and Antonio came to the US and settled in New York, as did their daughters Grace and Carrie, who married Vacanti brothers. Daughter Rose married a Siragusa and came to the US but returned to Italy. Son Francisco died young in Sicily. Son Salvatore may have gone to Argentina, from there...?. I have been unable to find a marriage date for Marianna and Francisco, or any information on this Vaccaro family in Sicily. If you can help, please E-mail me directly. Thanks!
