Giacomo Vaccaro (my great-grandfather) was born in Santa Ninfa, Sicily and there married Rosa Pellicane. they had two children in Santa Ninfa: Caterina & Vito... and after immigrating to America (around 1903) , two more: Frances & Anthony (my grandfather). from Sicily, the family first came to Brooklyn NY and later settled in New Brunswick NJ.
Giacomo had a half-brother named Mariano Vaccaro, who also came to America (1906). I am not sure of their father's name, but following tradition backwards, was possibly Vito.
does this info click with anyone? i can be more specific with birth and immigration dates if need be. any records, leads or further connections would be great!
