Hi Joann; I am Bill Gilbert "Giliberto" from Newark and Nutley N.J. am now living in Kingsburg Calif, Noticed your post and had to comment. My Great Grandfather married a Rosa Vaccaro in Sambuca di Sicilia in the 1800`s Found a bundle of Vaccaro`s in Death, Marriage, Birth records in Sambuca di Sicilia, Agregento. at the Ladder Day Saints FHC this past year and am putting them in my Family Tree Am at present searching the years 1846-- 1856 through and will continue through 1860 the year my Grandfather Francesco Giliberto and my Grandmother Maria Lombardo were married in Sambuca in 1886. Emigrated in Feb 1887 to Hoboken N.J. and eventually settled in a Shoemaker shop in Newark N.J.
